Exchanges

LOJA’s exchange program focuses on intercultural and creative exchange between young people with different ethnic, cultural, social, and language backgrounds in the frames of global peace education.

Therefore groups of young people from all over Europe gather in different locations of the partner countries to be an active part in overcoming boundaries, prejudices, and stereotypes and to create friendships across borders.

During 2024, CBC LOJA partnered in eleven Erasmus+ and DFJW-OFAJ international youth exchanges across Europe. Selected participants from #Center_LOJA had the opportunity to travel and engage with diverse cultures in countries such as Italy, France, Germany, Spain, and North Macedonia. In total, 105 young people from our country participated in these exchanges, most hailing from the Tetovo region. Many of the participants are volunteers with our organization and support LOJA in various activities and public events.

These projects are supported by the Erasmus+ Program, DFJW-OFAJ, and the Civil Peace Service Program, which are jointly implemented by Kurve Wustrow and Centre LOJA.

Study Visit

Additionally, we offer student & academic exchanges for engaged participants from our training programs.

Our yearly study exchange for students of education and participants of our trainings went to Vienna this year. The students are invited to learn from other education systems, visit schools, and hear about human rights projects and civil action initiatives.

Academic Exchange

For our partnering professors of the universities we are cooperating with (UT, UKIM, UGD and UKLO) joined our Academic

Exchange, also in Vienna. The Exchange served as an opportunity to work further on the idea to expand the multicultural education program to other countries in the region as well as meeting with institutions, universities and training centers for peace and education.

If you want to join next year’s exchanges, trainings, or other LOJA events, make sure to follow us and keep up to date on new activities on our Facebook and Web Page.
