Trainings on “Anchoring Multicultural Youth Work in University Curricula for Future Teachers”

During March/April and October/November 2024 LOJA held its series of trainings (four basic, two advanced and one teacher training) on Creative Conflict Transformation. Attended by students of the cooperating universities (UKIM, UT, SEEU, UKLO, UNT), alongside current teachers from the Pollog region and beyond, the trainings elaborated today’s conflictual context and its practical implementation. The workshops covered communication, perceptions, stereotypes and prejudices, differences, identity, violence, and conflict management. The trainings aim to equip future and current teachers with the necessary knowledge and skills to navigate diverse environments and foster proactive involvement within their communities and classrooms by expanding their experience to future generations.

In collaboration with the pedagogical faculties of the universities: SEEU, UKIM, UT, UGD, UNT and UKLO; the students are encouraged to join our trainings, which are integrated in the curricula.
